Brief Synopsis

A family watches over a remote hotel for the winter, but the cabin fever and a dark spiritual presence begin to take their toll on the father, Jack. The young boy Danny discovers he has a telepathic link with the hotel's caretaker known as "the shining" which also allows him to see horrific violence in the future and past.
