Brief Synopsis

Young Olive qualifies as a finalist for the Little Miss Sunshine beauty pageant, forcing her dysfunctional family consisting of a dead-beat but blindly optimistic father, a stressful mother, a mute brother, suicidal uncle, and vulgar grandfather to embark on a road trip to California.
